I have a very old ipad that wants our Aplle ID and Password which we can't remember
Short summary:
- Resetting Apple ID Password:
Go to iforgot.apple.com.
Enter your Apple ID.
Select the option to reset your password and choose Continue.
Follow the onscreen steps to reset your password. - Removing Activation Lock:
Go to www.iCloud.com/find.
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Click on All Devices.
Select the device you want to remove from iCloud.
Click Remove from Account. - Setting up iPad:
Create a lock screen passcode (four digits).
Choose "Set up as New iPad."
Use the new Apple ID and password that you created.
Create a new iPhone passcode.

You need to reset your Apple ID password, please follow the next steps:
- Go to iforgot.apple.com
- Enter your Apple ID.
Please enter --- *****@bigpond.com - Select the option to reset your password, then choose Continue.
- Choose to answer your security questions, get an email, or enter
your Recovery Key. - Follow the onscreen steps to reset your password.

Okay, I have followed that advice and changed my Apple ID password.
Good.
To remove the Activation lock from your device, please follow these steps:
- Go to www.iCloud.com/find
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- At the top, click All Devices.
- Select the device that you want to remove from iCloud.
- Click Remove from Account.
So, do I do this on my other ipad
