I have a very old ipad that wants our Aplle ID and Password which we can't remember

We have tried several times to activate the old ipad but can't remember the old email and password. Is there a way to clear that so we can start again

Short summary:

  1. Resetting Apple ID Password:
    Go to iforgot.apple.com.
    Enter your Apple ID.
Select the option to reset your password and choose Continue.
Follow the onscreen steps to reset your password.
  2. Removing Activation Lock:
    Go to www.iCloud.com/find.
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
    Click on All Devices.
Select the device you want to remove from iCloud.
    Click Remove from Account.
  3. Setting up iPad:
Create a lock screen passcode (four digits).
Choose "Set up as New iPad."
Use the new Apple ID and password that you created.
    Create a new iPhone passcode.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Do you have access to the phone number or email address associated with your Apple Id account that on iPad?
