I can't access Roku and can't get to the programs

Short summary:

  1. Press the "Home" button on your Roku remote to go to the Roku Home screen.
  2. Wait for 2-3 seconds on the Roku Home screen.
  3. Enter the button combination: Home (5 times) -> Up -> Rewind (2 times) -> Fast Forward (2 times).
  4. Your Roku device may reboot one or two times during this process.
  5. If the frozen screen persists, check the HDMI connection between your Roku device and TV.
  6. Turn off your TV and unplug the HDMI cable from the TV.
  7. Wait for 60 seconds, then plug the HDMI cable back into the TV.
  8. Turn on your TV and check if the frozen screen issue is resolved.
  9. If the problem persists, restart your Roku device by unplugging it from the power source, waiting a few seconds, and plugging it back in.

Oh, okay, in this case, let’s try to soft reset your TV.

  • To do this please unplug your TV from the wall and wait 60 seconds.
  • While unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds.
  • After the minute is up, plug your TV back in.

Top answer
  • Okay, now turn off your TV and, if your Roku is powered via the HDMI port on your TV, unplug it from it and wait 60 FULL seconds.
  • The key here is to be patient and actually wait the full minute before plugging it back in.
  • After the 60 seconds are up, go ahead and plug the Roku back in and see if it is still frozen!

Success!!!! Many thanks for your patience!!!
