  2. Tap or click Book Store.
  3. Search for a book that you already have but can't finish. When you find a book that you're interested in, tap or click it.

I can’t finish books i order and read about chapters and can’t get any further. Getting the book up on the list of books I’ve checked out it shows that I’ve read % of it. Louise Penney’s world of curiosities is the latest

Got it.
Try to reinstall the book itself:

  1. Open the Books app.
  2. Tap Library, then find the item that you want to delete.
  3. Tap Edit in the upper-right corner.
  4. Tap the item, then tap the Trash icon .
  5. To remove the item from your device, choose Remove Download.
