Yes please.

Customer Replay

Understood. Could you please specify, is the name of the service exactly is "Microsoft Subscription Reading"?

author

Yes, that is what appeared on my statement.

Customer Replay

Did they send you the email?

I never noticed one.
I can check.

Customer Replay

That would be great, thank you!

author

I can't see an email from them. I only knew about it when I checked my account this morning. It's left me in rather an awkward position

Customer Replay

Okay, I understood. Could you please sign in to Microsoft Order history

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

, and then select Refund information?

Customer Replay

Thank you!
Please, keep me posted.

I can't see refund information listed

Customer Replay

Got you.
I'm sorry, but if you don’t see Refund information, your item may not be eligible for a return. Could you please describe in detail on what app from Microsoft you subscribed?

author

All I know is Microsoft Subscription Reading. I really don't remember clicking on anything, and I need the money reimbursed. I never signed anything and therefore I believe I am fully justified for reimbursement. I cannot afford to lose this money, that is a big part of my state pension, which is my only source of income.

Customer Replay

Okay, got you. Please give me a moment, I'll think of what else we can do.

Customer Replay

Please, tell me do you see Office 365 personal in your Services & subscription in Microsoft?

author

Yes I can see that.

Customer Replay

Okay, it seems that the £79.99 was taken from you for the Office 365 personal subscription.

author

I've clicked on cance

Customer Replay

Please, don't.

author

I've clicked on cancel subscription, but it says nothing about getting my money back.

Customer Replay

You might not be able to make a refund if you click cancel.
Please allow me a moment to provide you with further instructions, I would really appreciate it if you would wait for me in the chat. Thank you!

author

OK thank you

Customer Replay

No problem :)
Working on your problem!

author

OK thanks.
I appreciate what you're doing.

Customer Replay

Thank you :)
Okay, so generally, if you cancel your subscription within 30 days of purchase or within 30 days of your initial purchase of your regular subscription, you will get a refund.
Usually, you will receive the refund within 3-5 working days after canceling your subscription.

author

So I should click on cancel then?

Customer Replay

Yes!

author

Thank you, I'll do that now.
All done. Thank you very much for your help.

Customer Replay

Anytime :)
I’m glad I was able to get that sorted out for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

author

No, that's it, thank you very, appreciated.
