It says on my Samsung tv that I’m not connected to satellite

I was connected the last time I was here 4 days ago

Short summary:

  1. Check all the cables connecting your satellite receiver to your TV and any other devices. Ensure that they are properly connected and not loose. Make sure that the cables are securely plugged in and that there are no visible signs of damage.
  2. Check if the input source is set correctly. Turn on your TV and press the Source or Input button on your remote control. Select the desired input mode. Most cable boxes connect to the TV via HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Do not connect the set-top box or cable box to HDMI ARC since this port only works with audio devices such as sound bars or home theatre systems.
  3. If the issue persists, do a soft reset of your TV. Unplug your TV from the wall and wait 60 seconds. While unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds. After the minute is up, plug your TV back in.
  4. If the issue still persists, it's possible that the set-top box is losing power or experiencing a hardware issue. Try pressing the power button on the set-top box and see if that helps.

Ok did it
I could see the light come on on the set top box then it disappeared znd I’m back to the display that says I’m not connected

If you saw the light come on the set top box and then it disappeared, it's possible that the set top box is losing power or experiencing a hardware issue.
Let's try to do the factory reset.

Ok
I pressed the power on button on the set top box and the light came on and the tv is now working. Thanks.

Alright! Such great news, *****.
I think every device needs a reboot time by time. So, some basic steps, as powering it off and back in could fix everything
