If your TV is displaying a message indicating that it is not connected to satellite, there could be a few reasons for this, *****.
Make sure that all of the cables connecting your satellite receiver to your TV and any other devices are properly connected and not loose. Check that the cables are securely plugged in and that there are no visible signs of damage.
ive done that. Looks ok. It hasn’t been used by anyone but me and it was ok 4 or 5 days ago. But it’s melting here lots of snow
Understood.
Let’s check if the input source is set correctly:
I’m on HDMI 1.
Please, follow the steps above and update me on the results.
I did it. Checked that thd source is tv and HDMI1 Nothing has changed.
Understood.
In this case let's try to do the soft reset of your TV, *****.
ok
To do this please unplug your TV from the wall and wait 60 seconds. While unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds. After the minute is up, plug your TV back in.
ok
Thank you, *****!
Ok did it
I could see the light come on on the set top box then it disappeared znd I’m back to the display that says I’m not connected
If you saw the light come on the set top box and then it disappeared, it's possible that the set top box is losing power or experiencing a hardware issue.
Let's try to do the factory reset.
Ok
I pressed the power on button on the set top box and the light came on and the tv is now working. Thanks.
What was wrong do you think.
Alright! Such great news, *****.
I think every device needs a reboot time by time. So, some basic steps, as powering it off and back in could fix everything
