I trying to get echo dot set up & having a problem

I don’t want to change my password or anything with my Amazon account.

Short summary:

  1. If you receive an error message indicating an incorrect Wi-Fi password, try resetting the password.
  2. Press and hold the "Action" button on the Echo Dot for about 25 seconds until the light ring turns orange and then blue. This will reset the device to factory settings.

  10. If the device doesn't respond, give it a moment. Sometimes it may take a few seconds to process the command.
  11. If the Echo Dot still doesn't respond, try giving it a specific command, such as asking it to play a song or provide the weather information.

I turned it off, turned on read thru the instructions, did it. It just said “your echo is ready”. Is there anything else I need to do?
