I paid my bill yesterday, internet has been restored, but my fetch box is not responding

Short summary:

  1. Turn off the modem and Fetch Box:
Locate the power points for both the modem and Fetch Box and switch them off.
If they have a power button, use that to turn them off.
Otherwise, unplug them from the power source.
  2. Unplug both devices:
After turning off the modem and Fetch Box, disconnect the power cords from the power source or wall outlet for both devices.
  3. Wait for 30 seconds:
Leave both the modem and Fetch Box unplugged for about 30 seconds to ensure all residual power is drained from the devices.
  4. Plug in the modem:
Reconnect the power cord of the modem to the power source or wall outlet.
Wait for the modem to restart and show a stable pattern of lights, indicating that it has re-established a connection to the internet.
  5. Turn on the Fetch Box:
Plug in the power cord of the Fetch Box and turn it on.
Wait for the Fetch Box to establish a stable connection. This may take a few moments as it reconnects to the internet.
  6. Check for connectivity:
Once the Fetch Box has established a stable connection, try using it to see if the issue has been resolved.
Check if you can access content and navigate through the Fetch interface without any errors.

Top answer

Noted, thus, let's do the following to fix this issue with Fetch:

  1. Turn off your modem and your Fetch box at the power point and unplug both for 30 seconds.
  2. Plug them both back in. Wait for the modem to reconnect and show a stable pattern of lights, then turn on the Fetch box and wait for it to establish a stable connection.
