I have had an email confirming purchase in Microsoft Store of MS Flight Simulator, but have not received the download code
Short summary:
- Open the Microsoft Store App on your PC.
- Check if the passkey for MS Flight Simulator has already been redeemed. If it has, proceed to step 3. If not, try to redeem the passkey again.
- Clear the Microsoft Store App cache by following these steps:
a. Press the Windows Key + R keys together to open the Run application.
b. In the empty field, type "wsreset.exe" (without quotes) and select Okay.
c. A Command Prompt window will open and then close after a few seconds. - If you are unable to open Run, click on the Start menu on your PC.
- Type "wsreset" in the search box.
- Click on the "wsreset" option that appears.
- Wait for the cache to be cleared.
- Go to this link: https://www.xbox.com/
- If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Click on the "Install" button to download the game.
- Wait for the download to complete.
- Once the download is complete, you can now play the game.

What troubleshooting have you done so far?
I cannot download at all at present. I had ordered a copy via Argos in UK. But it came as X-Box. I do not have an X-Box, only a PC. I went back to check and can no longer download as it says the passkey had been redeemed.

Let's try and clear the Microsoft Store App Cache:
- Open the Run application by pressing the Windows Key + R keys together
- In the empty field, enter the following (you may copy and paste this): wsreset.exe
- Select Okay
- A Command Prompt window will open itself and close after a few seconds
Unable to open Run. Is there another way. Its complicated. I was unable to set up my laptop and new PC as a network. So, am using a wireless keyboard that doesnt have the windows on the keyboard.
