I have dashlane on my laptop and my phone but cannot get it on my iPad

I have a premium account and have had difficulty with Dashlane for a long time.

I open the Dashlane app, and the opening page says "the app that makes the internet easier" and has a "get started" and "log in"
I try to log in--with my email address and what I know is my Dashlane password, because it works on my laptop--and the message is "Something went wrong. Please retry."
That's as far as I can getdashlane

1. From the Home screen on your iPad, touch and hold the Dashlane app
2. Tap Remove App then tap Delete App.
3. If unavailable, tap Delete App.
4. To confirm, tap Delete.

When I try to open Google/gmail, the password that's autofilled by Dashlane isn't the right one. I've changed it in the website list, but I still have to copy it from Dashlane and paste it, or input it manually, every time
very frustrating

To update your saved passwords in your Google account, please, follow the instructions below:
1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Passwords Passwords.
- If you can’t find the Passwords icon, at the top right of your screen, click More More and then Settings and then Autofill and then Password Manager.
Edit: To the right of the website, click More More and then Edit password.

I think I figured out why it wasn't working--I hadn't filled in the username in Dashlane
