I have a 58" ambilight tv which is warning of a low battery on the remote

I am unable to open the battery compartment or find the tv model number but we bought this 12 months ago,there is a small arrow on the back pointing down and it looks as if the batteries are at the bottom which I cannot open can you help.

I think the compartment is on the bottom of the silver face

no mine has a silver face and individual controls light up when any button is pressed

You need to press a little on the back cover and pull at the bottom

do you press on the bottom edge or the liittle arrow

You need to push the cover slightly below the middle and slide it down

when you say the cover do you mean the front silver cover

The back one, where there are no buttons

it doesn't work the angled edge at the end seems to stop it sliding
