I have a 2019 Whirlpool refrigerator model WRX986SIHZ00 That the lights in the freezer and the upper lights in the refrigerator just stopped working

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
What troubleshooting have you done so far?

Customer Replay

Nothing yet
The light on the upper part of the frig and the freezer just went out

Noted. Let’s try to soft reset your refrigerator. To do this please unplug it from the wall and wait 60 seconds. After the minute is up, plug your refrigerator back in.

Still does not work

Does your refrigerator or freezer compartment has a traditional light bulb?

Customer Replay

NO ALL LED

Noted.
For the freezer light there is a light switch in the freezer that may have gone faulty. Check that the switch is still working electrically, i.e. not open circuit when released.

Customer Replay

It still is off doing it by hand
The lights both went dead at the same time. But there is other lights in the refig that still come on when u open the door

Got you, I suppose that those lights may have been burned.

Customer Replay

well there are 2 up in the refig and 2 in the freezer. all at the same time does not make sense

Okay, were you trying to clear the drain maybe?

Customer Replay

nope just went in the ref to get some milk and it was out

I this case, the lights indeed may have been burned, I recommend replacing the led lights, sir.

Customer Replay

4 lights at the same time??

Yes. Unfortunately.
At least try replacing one of them and see if that works.

Customer Replay

ok
