Confirm that the Sort Order in your account is by Date; just click the top of the Date column in your account register.
My quicken for mac has quit downloading transactions for the past 2 days. I had mistakenly deleted quicken but retrieved from from my backup disk, thought everything was okay.
Please check if your Sort Order is set to "by Date"

Good, please Refresh your online account information by clicking the Actions Gear Icon on the upper right of the register, and select Update Now
I don't see a gear but there is a small Q top right

Don't see that but the Q has a check for updates and my quicken is up to date

No, but I clicked "check for updates" and my quicken is up to date.
I use qucken for mac
And I am paid up on my quicken account until next year
