Fetch tv remote control volume has disappeared can visit all programs recorded but still no sound volume

Have changed the batteries; haven't dropped the remote

Short summary:

  1. Ensure a clear line of sight between the remote and Fetch box, removing any obstructions.
  2. Reboot the Fetch box by turning off the power for 30 seconds and then turning it back on.
  3. Test the remote by adjusting the volume after the Fetch box restarts.
  4. If the issue persists, try connecting the Fetch box to a different input port on your TV, if available.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Does your Fetch box respond if you press any other buttons on the remote?

Check that there is a clear line of sight to the box. Remove all obstructions and make sure the remote is pointed directly at the box

Top answer

Try a different input port:

  • If your TV has additional input ports (such as a spare HDMI or AV port), try connecting your set-top box via a different port.
  • You may need to select the new input on your TV by pressing the Input/Source on your TV or Fetch remote control.

TV only works on HDM1 here
Maybe I will have to purchase a new remote but I'll probably have to get a Fetch one do you think?

Yes, that is what you should probably do.
