Fetch tv remote control volume has disappeared can visit all programs recorded but still no sound volume

Have changed the batteries; haven't dropped the remote

Ensure a clear line of sight between the remote and Fetch box, removing any obstructions.
Reboot the Fetch box by turning off the power for 30 seconds and then turning it back on.
Test the remote by adjusting the volume after the Fetch box restarts.
If the issue persists, try connecting the Fetch box to a different input port on your TV, if available.

yes but if i go into info it doesnt show up manage; settings etc

no changes. When it stopped with volume it was sitting on the lounge arm so noone was touching it.

Maybe I will have to purchase a new remote but I'll probably have to get a Fetch one do you think?
