If you already have a huge number of channels and chats in Telegram, folders will definitely help you. They will help you find the conversations you want more quickly. You can pin the most important ones to the top of the messenger window, so they're always at your fingertips. And if you need one-click access to some chats, the shortcuts will help.

Telegram for Android has long allowed you to make a shortcut for each individual channel or chat, which will be displayed on the desktop of your smartphone. This will be handy for communicating with your loved ones or, for example, with your boss.

To make an icon, open the desired chat or channel and tap on its header. Next tap three dots at the top right → "Create shortcut" → "Add to home screen".

You can create as many such shortcuts as you like. They can be deleted as ordinary icons without affecting the Telegram application itself.

On iOS, there is no such feature, but there are widgets, in one of which you can select two favorite chats for quick access.
