Panasonic TV difficult to switch on, I have checked with Sky as thought it was remote but Sky Q box and remote both working

Fault appears to lie with Panasonic TV LCD 37inch HD

Are you able to inspect your TV and from it's back and check the vents?

I’ll try but don’t know what I should be looking for

I mean to check the fans of your TV
It may be clogged by dust particles

checking now but can’t see any fans

TV not dusty at the back and do you mean see the screws? There are at least 7

You can try to unscrew them and clean it from the dust

I see
Let’s try to soft reset your TV. To do this please unplug your TV from the wall and wait 60 seconds. While unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV for 30 seconds. After the minute is up, plug your TV back in.

yes has come on straight away with Panasonic remote, but not with Sky remote
