Our volume is not working, can you tell me if the television should be on "HDMI1 or HDMI2?

We had been gone for the weekend and left the TV on fir our cats. We came home and there is No volume on the TV. Just wondering if the TV should be on HDMI1 OR HDMI2...
Not sure if something may have happened to the box

Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect the Box to the TV?
The number of port is irrelevant.

Have you switched the source by pressing the "Source" button on TV remote?

I do not see a "source" button

Do you see a button with a square and the arrow pointing towards/inwards that square.
Please note that it should be a TV remote.

I tried changing it. Should it be on HDMI1 OR HDMI2
I could not get HDMI2
it would not come up.

Check the integrity of the cable itself.

Check if the cable does not have visible damage.
Also, if you have, try to check it with another cable.

The input doesn't matter, the TV should recognize the connected box on any port.
Have you checked d the volume on the box itself?

Wait.... I just found it.. I pressed the microphone button and the volume started working
