My Sky q control will not work sound control or speaker it's ok to change channels and recordings

What troubleshooting have you done so far?

Please, try this:

  1. Remove the battery cover from the body of the Sky Q remote.

  1. Take out the batteries and insert them again, matching the + and - signs.
  2. Once the batteries are in place, replace the cover by aligning the catch with the remote body and sliding forward, so it clicks back into place.

Press help on your remote to check it has battery power:

  • If the LED light at the top of the remote flashes, then press and hold the Voice Control button. If you don't see the search screen then you need to replace the batteries and press the Voice
  • Control button once more.
    If the LED light at the top of the remote doesn't flash, then check the batteries are in correctly. If they are, you will need to replace them with new batteries.

Got it. Could you please try to restart your Sky device? Just unplug it, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back. After this, check how it works.

No difference sound control still not working

In this case, please try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote. Press 7 & 9 together on the remote until it's led flashes four times. Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
