I have taken delivery of a Lenovo M10 HD tab 4g 2nd edition alexa dock from three i have been trying to log into without success

I have spent a large portion of the day talking to three and have just finished a conversation with Lenovo tech dept. they suggest I have accidently locked myself out of the system and have suggested that you will be able toprovide me with a code that will unlock my tablet.

The Lenovo TEchie I have talked to today thinks I may have unknowingly used a password and not noted it down and have locked up my tablet. the tablet when i switch it on presents me with a blue screen that asks me to unlock the tablet and presents me with a tablet that has a telephone style number pad. The technician thinks you can provide me with a code that will unlock the tablet. At the moment i feel frustrated as i have for the last fortnight been passed around from three to the Lenovo site and threes technicians and back to Lenovo and i still can not access my tablet.

Let's try following these steps:

  1. Power off your Lenovo tablet after forgot password.
  2. Press Volume UP + Power button on the tablet. In the recovery menu use Volume button to select wipe data/factory reset option and use power button to confirm.
  3. Reboot system and successfully unlock Lenovo android tablet.

Keep pressing the “Power” button until the “Power Off” button appears on the screen. Tap on this button to switch off your tablet.

    Power button.
  2. Continue to hold the Volume Up button.
  3. From the Android Recovery screen, select. Wipe data/factory reset.

  5. Select. Reboot system now.
