I have an Acer Aspire 5

I stepped away from my computer, only to return to a bunch of 5s in the internet search bar, and that my touch pad for my mouse quit working. I think my cat walked on my keyboard. I have already expressed my irritation with her, but this has not made brought back my mouse. I have searched the internet for suggestions, and have tried pressing the fn key and the f6 key at the same time. This did not help. I tried pressing the fan key and the f7 key at the same time. This did not help. I tried turning off my computer and turning it back on. This did not help. I tried control, alt, delete - this did not bring back my mouse. It only brought frustration. What suggestions do you have to bring back my dear cursor? My computer is useless without a cursor, and cursing my cat has not helped any of this either.

Nice to meet you too.

Press the fn + F6 or F7 key at the same time and check if it works. Edit:- If its not helping then try pressing Fn + F3 or Fn + F5 or Fn + F9 or Fn + F11 keys.

Thank you!!! Fn+F7 held for a longer time seemed to help. I might have just panicked a bit. Or I might have been too busy expressing irritation with my cat. All is forgiven now. Thank you.
