I have a samsung Galaxy Z flip3 5g and the phone is charged but the screen wont come on?

The phone rings but i cant answer it.

Short summary:

Step 1: Soft Reset Simultaneously press and hold the Power key and Volume down button on the right edge of your Samsung device for approximately 15 seconds. Then, release the buttons. This will perform a soft reset and may resolve the black screen issue.

Step 2: Check for Software Updates Since the black screen issue occurred after a software upgrade, it's important to ensure that the software is installed correctly. Follow these steps to check for software updates:

  1. Make sure your device is powered on and connected to a charger to prevent any interruptions during the update process.
  2. Open the Settings app on your Samsung device.
  3. Scroll down and select "Software update" or "System updates" (the exact option may vary depending on your device model).
  4. Tap on "Download and install" or "Check for updates" to check if any updates are available.
  5. If an update is found, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it on your device.

Step 3: Install Software Updates If your device prompts you to install a software update after the soft reset, follow these steps to proceed with the installation:

  1. Make sure your device is connected to a charger to ensure it has enough power for the update process.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by your device to start the update installation.
  3. Allow the update process to complete. Your device may restart multiple times during this process, so be patient.
  4. Once the update is installed, your device should reboot and hopefully resolve the black screen issue.

Got it
One of the common causes of this black screen is a firmware crash. The phone will not respond for no apparent reason and will usually just show a black screen. The fastest way to fix Samsung black screen issues is by doing a soft reset.
*****, try these steps first:
Simultaneously press and hold the Power key and Volume down button on the right edge for approximately 15 seconds then release.

Ok, I see now. Have you followed the steps I provided?

It's possible the upgrade was not installed fully. Usually, it's recommended to install the latest update for the device to work good.
So please install the updates available for your device, but make sure your phone is connected to the charger to be sure the updating process won't be interrupted
