how is it tha connetst to network but not internet?
it connects to internet when use it for the ipad

Most likely the problem is in the Internet connection (Wi-Fi), please try to restart your router.

I am using a t mobile hot spot that used in the past with this tv
the hot spot tells me is connected to Roku tv

  2. Scroll up or down and select Settings.
  3. Press the right arrow button and select System.
  4. Press the right arrow button and select Power.
  5. Press the right arrow button and select System Restart.
