My new 55" hisense tv keeps having the sales rolling screen every 5 minutes

So I cannot watch it for more than 5 minutes. The TV was working fine until my mom touched a setting screen.

Short summary:

  1. Press the "Menu" button on your Hisense TV remote control.
  2. Go to "Settings" and then "System".
  3. Look for an option called "Demo Mode" or "Store Demo" and turn it off if it's on.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  5. Test the TV to confirm that the issue has been resolved.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Did you already try something to fix the issue with your Hisense TV?

Yes, I tried to go through all of the settings. Now however I can not get into settings at all. When I purchased the TV it was set up and worked fine. My mother touched something in settings and it went back to the scrolling sales screen and the sound increased 20x.

Thank you for the additional information!
It sounds like your TV may be stuck in demo mode, which is why the sales rolling screen keeps appearing every 5 minutes. This is a common issue that can happen when certain settings are changed on the TV.
To fix this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Press the "Menu" button on your remote control.
  2. Go to "Settings" and then "System".
  3. Look for an option called "Demo Mode" or "Store Demo" and turn it off if it's on.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Where is the menu button on the clicker?

Do you mean on your remote?

Yes

The location of the "Menu" button on your Hisense TV remote control may vary depending on the model, but it is usually located near the center of the remote control.
Look for a button that has the word "Menu" on it or a symbol that looks like a set of stacked lines or a rectangle with lines on it.
Did you succeed?

Ok, I am on store mode settings. There is auto playback setting, sync playback setup, built in video update, built-in picture update, e-pos switch. There is a toggle here with ON,. I toggled off. The TV started playing on Netflix. I need to watch the TV for 5 minutes to see if it is fixed

Good job! Yes, let's see
It sounds like you found the "Store Mode" setting and turned it off by toggling the switch to "Off". This should prevent the sales rolling screen from appearing every 5 minutes and allow you to watch your TV normally.
It's a good idea to watch your TV for a few minutes to confirm that the issue has been resolved
