My Mouse M720 will not work

Short summary:

my Logitech mouse is not workin! I have checked battery turned it off and on restarted computer just frustrated it is logiyech M720 it has miners 1,2,3 and the number 2 lights up but nothing happened

Just put new battery in! It lights up the number 2 and nothing happens

My other computer is a mac, I can try
It didn't work but the number 3 lit up but it does not work. I am putting back on my work PC
It still has the number 3 on the top lit up but is does not work. This is a new mouse. I have had it two weeks and was on vacation the second week. It was working
