My HP 4100 printer was connected to wi fi and then it wasn't

What troubleshooting have you done so far?
Followed instructions concerning pushing buttons on the unit... no success

Let's try connecting it to your Wi-Fi. To connect your HP printer to a Wi-Fi network please do the following:
- Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.
- Put the printer in WPS connection mode.
- Most printers without a touchscreen control panel: Press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.
- HP Deskjet 6000 and 6400, ENVY 6000 and 6400, and Tango printers: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Power button on the back of the printer for five seconds until the blue bar flashes. - Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on the router until the connection process begins.
- Wait for the Wireless light or bar on the printer to stop flashing. The printer is now connected to the network.
I don't know how to put printer in WPS connection mode, there is no button for that

There is no button on the router, just a light indicator

It can be iether at the front or at the back
there is no buttons on the front and the back just has plug ins

Facing the router, on top of the router, look at all the lights. To the farthest to the right what looks like a light is actually a button. That's the WPS button.

Please, make sure that the light on your printer is flashing too - that's when they'll be able to connect
