I'm going to start a new facebook page.

What is the best way to transfer all the data from my old facebook page to the new one?

Short summary:

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  3. In the left column, click Your Facebook information.
  4. Next to Transfer a copy of your information, click View. You may be asked to re-enter your Facebook password.
  5. From here, you can choose a destination based on what you want to transfer. In each destination, you can see if they accept photos, videos, posts, notes, events or other information.

Is it possible to transfer the page data without merging the pages?

Grace, you can manually transfer the data by downloading the content from your old page

I tried transferring my fb page data using the merge pages , but it didn't work as expected. Some of the content didn't transfer, and the likes/followers didn't merge properly. It was a bit frustrating and time-consuming to fix. I hope there's a more reliable method available.
