If you need to locate an Oppo A16 lost:
The first option requires that you have linked your Oppo A16 with a Google account, which is the usual and essential requirement on a device with the Android operating system.
Was it linked with a google account?

Customer Replay

Yes but I bought new one now and I'm using the same Google account

author

Was the lost phone linked with a google account?

Customer Replay

Yes

author

Okay.
To find or locate a lost or stolen Oppo A16:
1. Install the “Google Find my device” from Google LLC.

Customer Replay

I have tried to closed it at Vodacom shop as it was for contract

To close what?

Customer Replay

That I'm using same Google account it shows the one that I'm using

author

Good.

  1. Go to --> https://www.google.com/android/find and sign in to your Google Account.
  • If you have more than one phone, click the lost phone at the top of the screen.
  • If your lost phone has more than one user profile, sign in with a Google Account that's on the main profile. Learn about user profiles.
    Did you do that?
Customer Replay

If I do this it shows the one on my hand I used same Google account that I use on the lost phone

author

No lost phone visible?

Customer Replay

On the map, you'll get info about where the phone is.

  • The location is approximate and might not be accurate.
  • If your phone can't be found, you'll see its last known location, if available.

Do you have right now as well the Oppo A16?

Customer Replay

No Oppo A16 is the one I lost now I have Oppo A52 but when I locate it old one it shows the new one as if is the same phone
And the one I lost I lost it in another province

author

So, you do see the location of that lost one, as you say it is in another province, right?

Customer Replay

No it points in my current location as if is the one I'm using
I don't see the location for the lost one

author

Hmm, it is weird.

Customer Replay

You don't use IME number to locate?

author

If it is not located on the map it is because it does not have the GPS activated or it does not have a network connection to be able to triangulate its location.
Do you know the IMEI of that lost phone?

Customer Replay

May be or the person stole it has formatted it and put his or her Google account
Yes

author

In this case, you can contact your telecommunications company and block the device through IMEI so that it cannot be used, this IMEI will be added to a blacklist of devices and if activated in any of the countries that respect this list Black will be communicated to the authorities and automatically blocked so that it cannot be used.

Customer Replay

Ryt thank you

author
