Hello, thank you for using Howly. I’ll be happy to help you out! May I ask your name?
*****
Nice to meet you, *****!
I don't know if you can see what I originally wrote. Had gone out of town and unplugged my computer. Came home and plugged it in again but the HP Envy Inspire did not connect with my IMAC. Deleted it as one of my printers. and then added it. Still does not print though it says that there are two items to print.
Yes, I saw it. Can You please provide me with the model name of your printer?
HP Envy Inspire 9700
Thanks. Is this printer connected wired or wireless?
Wireless. It shows on the IMAC that it is connected and in use.
Can You please unplug your printer from the wall for 2-5 minutes, and plug it back in?
I will try. Can I just unplug it from the computer rather than from the wall plug?
Is it connected to your computer by wire?
I was able to unplug it though it is under my desk. The computer is plugged into one of those surge protecters The printer is plugged into the surge protector as well.
Do you have any messages on your printer or MAC now?
Not really It was may I know your first name and let me review the info you have provided so far.
I mean, do you have any messages on your printer's screen after you plugged it back in?
not yet. it has the hp and then the line which has a light blue streak which is going across under the hp
Got it
Do you have a possibility to connect your printer to your MAC using the cable?
Checking the printer and then the couple scan icons. It then printed one of the two items I had in the queue.
So, is everything working now?
And says that there is nothing left in the queue. I believe that it is fixed. thanks.
