How can I remove microphone icon on my screen?Ventura 13.2

I have tried all recommended ways but still persists.

Short summary:

  1. Try pausing Voice Control and stop it from listening by saying "Go to sleep" or clicking on the Sleep button.
  2. Alternatively, you can manually turn off the microphone by following the previous steps.Open "System Preferences" from the Apple menu.
Select "Sound" from the preferences window.
    Switch to the "Input" tab.
Choose "Internal Microphone" from the list.
Set the input volume to 0 to effectively turn off the microphone.
  3. If you're unsure which application is currently using the microphone, open "Activity Monitor" from the Utilities folder.
  4. In the Activity Monitor window, select the "Audio" tab.
  5. Identify the process listed here that is using the microphone.
  6. Close the application using the microphone to ensure the wake-up microphone icon disappears.

Thank you!
The wake-up microphone icon on Mac's screen indicates that the computer's microphone is active and being used. To remove the icon, you can turn off the microphone or close the application that is using it.

  1. You can turn off the microphone by going to "System Preferences" and selecting "Sound".
  2. Then, click on the "Input" tab and select "Internal Microphone" and set the input volume to 0.
  3. If you are not sure which app is using the microphone, you can open "Activity Monitor" and select the "Audio" tab. The process that is using the microphone will be listed here and you can close it.
Please, notify me if the issue is fixed.
