I was in Hospital, and the kindle was going almost 24/7 whe I had turned it off, and a couple of hours later having been on charge, the green light stayed on and I could not get the kindle to work, was in the middle of interesting drama lol
Please, try to press and hold down the power button for 20 seconds or longer.
