Can I get cellular service added to my new Ipad?

I mistakenly purchased a 10th generation Ipad with only Wifi.

Short summary:

  • To use an eSIM, your iPad must have cellular capabilities.
  • A WiFi-only iPad does not have cellular connection capabilities at all, which means that there is no option to use an eSIM.

A WiFi-only iPad has no cellular connection capabilities at all, so there is even no option to use an eSIM. Unfortunately, you will need to have an iPad with cellular capabilities to do so.
