Can I get cellular service added to my new Ipad?

I mistakenly purchased a 10th generation Ipad with only Wifi.

Short summary:

  • To use an eSIM, your iPad must have cellular capabilities.
  • A WiFi-only iPad does not have cellular connection capabilities at all, which means that there is no option to use an eSIM.
  • Therefore, you will need to have an iPad with cellular capabilities to use an eSIM.

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
So your iPad does not have a slot for the SIM card, right?

correct, it does not

Noted, thanks
A WiFi-only iPad has no cellular connection capabilities at all, so there is even no option to use an eSIM. Unfortunately, you will need to have an iPad with cellular capabilities to do so.

OK. Thanks. Wanna by a nice Ipad with a new screen saver?

I like your sense of humor, *****!
Unfortunately I do not need an iPad :)
Do you have any additional questions I can help you with?
