My mother randomly pushes buttons on her kindle

now it is displaying in Dutch, and I don't know how to change it to English

I am on the welcome screen, and have the 3 dots...the three menu items I have to choose from are Webbrowser, Instellingen, and Juridisch - the 2nd, 3rd and 4th entries.

The "Add kid" button is grayed out, and under the date field it is saying, "Please enter a valid birthdate."
Doesn't change when I enter my bd.
