Nice to meet you, *****!
Could you press volume up-volume down and press and hold the power button, please?
And don't let go until you see the Apple logo, please.

Customer Replay

I did all the pushing, and the Apple logo comes up, but it does not help. I have tried at least 50 times.

author

Firstly press volume up, then volume down, and press and hold the power button, please.
Did you do this instruction?

Customer Replay

OK, I will follow your instruction, please be patient, I am old and slow.

Sure, take your time, *****.

Now I can slide the off commend and the phone is off.
So far, the phone is off

author

You should wait until the phone is turned off and don't slide anything. Could you turn it on now?

Customer Replay

By pushing the power button?

author

Yes, please.

Customer Replay

OK, I see the Apple logo. Great, now is back on and I can see the phone back to normal. I did all these at least 50 times, why it does not work before?
The silly voice is also gone.

Probably, you just turn it off, but now you restart it completely.
Great job, ***** :)
Is there anything else I can do for you today?

Customer Replay

Don't hung up with me. Let me try to turn off and restart one more time to make sure it works properly.

author

Sure. Keep me updated.

Customer Replay

What is most proper way to turn off?

author

If now it works properly, you can turn it on via Settings.

Customer Replay

Shall I push voice up then down and then power again to turn off???

author

No, you should do it if you have a problem with the touchscreen or your phone just doesn't work properly.
If now there is no problem with it you don't need to turn it off.

Customer Replay

If I want to turn off the phone, where in setting to turn off??
OK, I don't have to turn off. Thank you for your help.

author

Go to Settings > General > Shut Down, then drag the slider.
There is a way how to do it.
You are welcome!

Customer Replay

I will try it now. Good, I forgot, I did that many times. NOw, I turn on by push Voice up, down, and power

My mistake before was push the voice up and down simultaneously, or push the down first then up and power.
