I want to cancel my subscription for Apple TV

Yes, to cancel it, you need to be logged into the account on the device you are trying to do it

It's trying to tell me my apple id is some really old email address and I know I don't us that email address
So your saying if it is on my ipad that I need to be on my ipad to cancel?

You can use any device in which you are already signed in to the Apple TV account

How to cancel a subscription on your iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the subscription.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

I think so. took me a minute. my ipad had to be plugged in and didn't see subscriptions right away
