I just got a roku ultra today and the sound is working but the screen is showing an HDCP error

I’ve done everything to reset it, checked to make sure there’s internet, and I can’t get a picture. I’m beyond frustrated

On both your Roku player and TV, AVR, or soundbar, unplug each end of the HDMI cable.
Power off your TV, AVR, or soundbar, and unplug its power cord.

Now do the following:

Remove the power cord from your Roku player.
Reconnect both ends of the HDMI cable, making sure each connector is attached firmly and securely.

And now the last 2 steps:

Reconnect the power cord to your TV, AVR, or soundbar, and your Roku player and wait for both devices to power on.
Try viewing the content again.

Nope. Still the same error

If the issue continues after attempting the instructions above, try the additional suggestions below.
Try a different HDMI input on your TV, AVR, or soundbar.
Try using a different HDMI cable, just to make sure the cable you are currently using does not have any defects.
