I just got a roku ultra today and the sound is working but the screen is showing an HDCP error

I’ve done everything to reset it, checked to make sure there’s internet, and I can’t get a picture. I’m beyond frustrated

Now do the following:

  • Remove the power cord from your Roku player.
  • Reconnect both ends of the HDMI cable, making sure each connector is attached firmly and securely.

Nope. Still the same error

  • If the issue continues after attempting the instructions above, try the additional suggestions below.
  • Try a different HDMI input on your TV, AVR, or soundbar.
  • Try using a different HDMI cable, just to make sure the cable you are currently using does not have any defects.
