If you have two handsets for your Uniden, it is possible that the message on hold is on one of the handsets and not the other. In this case, you will need to check both handsets to see which one is displaying the message and clear it accordingly.

Going back to your prior instruction. when I press the menu button the following options are available handset setup, ans setup, day & time, register base, global set up.

Have done this on both hand pieces. Still a call on held in the answering machine area on both hand sets
