I have a Galaxy 571 5G, how do I copy sent messages?

I want to be able to copy and paste sent messages so I can send it to another contact.

  3. Tap one of the following: Copy.

I used to be able to just press down on the message and I could copy it.

Yes, and then you need to go to person where you need to paste, and in the message field just hold and click Paste
