I am trying to reset my kindle fire 10 password which I neglected to write down when I was setting up this afternoon.
What isn't clear?
Sir, Kindle passcode and a password to your Amazon account are different things. In order to reset the passcode, you must know the password to your Amazon account.
So, do you know it? 😊
I know my Amazon account password! I was setting up my new kindle this afternoon and it requested I setup a password to login to my kindle. Does that help?

- From the lock screen on your Fire tablet, enter the wrong password or PIN five times.
- Choose Reset Your PIN from the on-screen notification.
- Enter your Amazon account password, then tap Continue.
- Enter a new PIN or Password, then tap Finish.

Apparently, I did remember it though I tried entering it in earlier. It just worked now! My memory hasnt completely belly up!
