Customer Replay

Do you mean you try to connect the TV to the phone hotspot?

it tried the wifi but did not work so then i tried to connect it to my phone hotspot to see if it was just the wifi but connecting it to my phone did not work either

samsung tv plus and youtube now seem to be working im trying to re download Netflix
ah it says unable to install netflix?
would this be a network problem or something else

Customer Replay

It seems to be the network connecting issue.

but everything else seems to be working?
is there another way to install apps

Customer Replay

Did you use any VPN services or something on your TV?

Customer Replay

Great, thank you!

Often changing the DNS server number or IP address on your TV can also fix Wi-Fi not working or a particular app not working on Wi-Fi on your Samsung TV.
Let`s try to check this way to fix your problem.
Please, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Network.

  1. Select Network Status.
  2. Here you will see the status of your network. Please, provide me with what can you see there.

Thank you!
Please, choose IP Settings.

Customer Replay
  1. Select IP settings and set it to Get automatically.
  2. Go down and select the DNS setting. If it says Manual, select Get automatically. Alternatively, if it says Get automatically, change to Manual.

it says get automatically at the moment
so do i change it to manual

Customer Replay
  1. Once you change to Manual, the DNS Server option will become active. Enter 8.8.8.8 using the numbers on your remote.
  2. Press the Ok button to save the changes.
  3. Restart the TV.

doi leave ip address as 0.0.0.0 and just change DNS
restarting now
its working!

Customer Replay

Change it to manual and then you can change the DNS.
Great!

netflix is downloaded too!
thank you so much

Customer Replay

Please, check it one more time to be sure!

okay
all workign thank you
