How do i reinstall zoom on macbookair

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Could you please clarify, do you have the app installed at the moment?

no i couldn't update the app & a zoom support email said I should uninstall the app and then download it but i don't know how to do that. the original error code I got with the update was 10004. Also I have an account # because I want access to that account

Got it!
*****, I am now sending you the first part:

  • Go to the Zoom Download page. https://georgetown.zoom.us/download
  • On the “Zoom Software Download Center” page, download the first option Zoom Client for Meetings.
  • Once the download is complete, open the Finder. In the Finder, go to your Downloads folder and then double-click on Zoom.pkg file listing.

the first option is zoom desktop client. there is not zoom client for meetings

That is the client for meetings.

Correct

  • In the pop-up window, click Continue to run the installer program.
  • Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
  • Once completed the Zoom Cloud Meetings window will display.

That is the program, from there you will need to sign in.

You can try to make a meeting to be sure that you are logged in.
Or connect to a meeting.

the meeting i needed to connect too is already finished which is why I had to find a way to solve my update problem.

but i tried opening a scheduled meeting & it works. yes I do have one
