How can I remove screen lock on my S10e if I don’t want it?

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Do you want to change the settings and turn off the password unlock option or did you forget your S10 E phone's password and you are willing to unlock it?

Either delete it or turn it off. I have my password.

Got you, thank you for the reply!
Please, follow the instructions below:

  1. Open Settings on your Samsung phone > Lock Screen > Screen lock type.
  2. If prompted, enter your current lock screen code.
  3. Tap None.

ok...now "remove data"?

You don't need to remove data, if you are not willing to delete the data from your phone
You are able to unlock the phone and access Settings, correct

yes

Got it, thank you for the clarification!

Customer Replay

after none a screen comes up "change to a non-secure screen" and either "cancel" or "remove data"

Got you, please choose "change to a non-secure screen"

Customer Replay

That's not a choice it's a screen title. The choices are "cancel" or "remove data"

It basically means your phone will be without a password to access it, that's why it is called "non-secure"

Customer Replay

Yeah....that's what I want

*****, please choose "remove data", it will remove the biometric data for your password (fingerprints, voice characteristics or retina patterns to identify you)
