because right now only one person can add, before we use to have the add button available to anyone so if any person wants to add he or she just click the add button
You may try to change the permissions of the group following these instructions
1. tap and hold the group in the CHATS tab.
2. Then, tap More options > Group info.
3. Tap Group settings > Edit group info
Or alternatively add members following this one:
1. If you want to add someone to your Whatsapp group, here are different ways to do it:
- Send them an invite link.
- Add them directly as participants.
- If you are not an admin, you can still share the invite link with which you have joined. You can also request the admin to add your friends as participants. You may not be able to add participants if the group is full.

right now we have to ask the admin but we want everyone to be able to add a participant, we had that before in a different group
