We just moved our tv

One cord became disconnected (we think from the cable box ) when we did so. Believe we have all reconnected the right way now. However our tv screen says: HDMI2. No time information. No signal. What should we do?

Hello, thank you for using our service, my name is Hanna. I’ll be happy to help you out! May I ask your name?

Go for it. What’s the answer?

  1. Disconnect all HDMI sources from the inputs.
  2. Unplug the power from the TV/LCD for 10 minutes.
  3. Plug the TV/LCD back in.
  4. Connect the HDMI cable one device at a time.
  5. Turn on the device.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 for each HDMI port.

we’ve done all that.
Which HDMI should we be on?

Try different ones
I do not see your TV to tell you
If it won't help, please try this: If you hold the exit button for 30 seconds , a box will come up asking if you want to set back to factory settings. This works on most Samsung TVs.

Held exit button for 60 seconds. Nothing happened.

If you need to do a Factory Mode reset on your TV you will need to power off the TV and then on your remote control press Mute 182 Power simultaneously. The TV will turn on with a secret menu and all you will have to do is press enter a few times and the TV will do a deep Factoy Mode Reset just like the TV came out of the box new! There is also a way to reset the HDMI ports in that menu as well.
