I was kicked off facebook for a week

And have just been put back on. It seems I was psoting multiple advertisements. I would now like to post an interview that was done with concerning a dcoumentary I wrote 30 years ago...there is no selling just a suggestion to see the documentary on youtube. Can I do this safely?

Basically, yes. You can promote your work safely
Using FB as a platform

So since it is not advertising anything for sale I should be okay right?

author

Yes, just check this page - https://www.facebook.com/policies_center/ads
There are FB Advertising Policies
And make sure that your interview doesn't violate any of it

Customer Replay

too complicated for me...just answer me that it is okay to post my interview without getting kicked off again.

I can't answer this question, because I don't know what your interview about
But I can give you a list of the most common violations, so you will check it right now with me

It is about me writing a documentary that was done almost 30 years ago a bit about the making of it and a suggestion to view on a youtube posy which I did not post. Okay?

author

Well, from your description it looks that your interview doesn't violate Facebook standards
But, *****, I really recommend you to read this article - https://www.facebook.com/policies_center/ads

Customer Replay

ok there is nothing in my interview about wanting any money of any kind...just describing the filming of the documentary and a suggestion to anyone to see it on a youtube post wheich I did not post...that is it. okay?

author

And check it by yourself before posting

Customer Replay

didn't get the link

Customer Replay

well I looked it over and I don't thionk it violates anything

author

That's great!
Do you have any additional questions I can help you with, *****?

Customer Replay

Should I add a line abouve the interview video stating that the video does not do any advertising...requests nothing financial and is merely a recollection of working on a documentary almost 30 years ago.

author

Not necessarily. Facebook definitely doesn't require it
But you can use it as your intro to set up your audience and bring attention to your post

Customer Replay

uyeah but since I was just kicked off nsd put back on if I violate agian it could be permanant...

Because people usually see a lot of ads on Facebook
They should be a little interested in something that promotes itself as not the promo to buy something

Customer Replay

ok ill go for it.

author

*****, FB doesn't kick people for promotions itself
FB kicks only for violation of their policies

Customer Replay

ok if you say so.
that's it

author

So, for example, you can promote a restaurant on Facebook, but you can promote hookahs and tobacco
