I'm afraid I was just hacked

Tell me, please, why do you think you were hacked?

I was attempting to register a fuel rewards card and a screen and audio message stated a virus infected my pc, not to proceed further nor shut down my computer, and contact the number on the screen. It also stated the message was from Microsoft. So I called the number and was walked through steps to open the screens. When I asked for a confirmation email as to the assistance I received, the person hung up.

Do you see "Quick scan" option?

I do not see quick scan; It states under Virus and Threat protection no action is needed.

To take a screenshot you need to press the Windows + Print Screen keys on your keyboard at the same time. For some keyboards, you may see other signs marked along with Print Screen. In this case, you need to press the Fn key simultaneously when capturing. The captured screenshot will be saved in C:\Users\ADMIN\Pictures\Screenshots as a PNG image.
To attach your screenshot to our chat, you need to press the paper clip button in the lower right corner of the chat window. Then you have to choose an image and confirm sending.
