Okay, appreciate that
Groundhog day repeats with no positive outcome or change
Is every detail on your account confirmed? Phone number and email?
Yes.
this same Apple Signing request only reflects on the iPhone
Yes, sure, it is not a big deal, but we can fix that. When was the last time you have changed your Apple ID password, *****?
You see, Apple states that one of the reason of this keeping notification can be: "You changed your Apple ID password or made some modifications to the Apple ID credentials."
I'd really appreciate if you will follow my instructions, *****
ok:
Restart or Force Restart your iPhone
For several users, the notification stays even after you enter the correct Apple ID password. But once you restart the iPhone, it goes away. I would advise you to do the same before proceeding to the following solutions.
want me to do this right now? Not sure how/if I get back to this conversation in case that doesnt work
No worries, our chat is being up-to-dated on my side every time, you can just save this link https://howly.com/chat/ and get back to me to keep our conversation, *****
Ok. that did not work.
This is one of the sure-shot solutions when the “update apple id settings” notification is stuck. Let me show you how to proceed with this fix.
Open iPhone Settings and tap your name at the top.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.
To disable Find My iPhone, enter your Apple ID password, and tap Turn Off.
You can choose to keep a copy of Calendars, Contacts, Keychain, and Safari or not. If you already used iCloud for these, they will sync once again when you sign in.
Next, tap Sign Out and confirm.
Now, restart your iPhone. (important)
Open iPhone Settings again and tap Sign in to your iPhone.
Enter your Apple ID, password, iPhone passcode (if asked), and Merge or Don’t Merge to complete the re-sign in process.
Ok, I will give that a go now, thanks
You are always welcome!
