I have a Facebook account I want to DELETE

but I do not know the password. And it doesn't give me the possibility of changing the password.

First, we need to reset the password to your FB account

Let's try to follow instructions below:
1. Make sure you’re connecting from the Wi-Fi network and device you normally use. Go to facebook.com/login/identify
2. Find your account by searching for your phone number or email address.
3. Send a recovery code to your phone or email address.
4. Enter the code carefully, without spaces or other symbols, and press "Continue"

Ok, what's happening is that there seem to be 2 Facebook accounts. When I open Facebook, the page I DO NOT WANT opens. It's not my "real" Facebook.

I tried to change the password, but I got a message "unknown error"
That message came to my iphone. But on my ipad, it asked if I tried to change the password, and said that I don't need to do anything further.

Can you please Tap in the top right of Facebook?
1. Scroll down and tap Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Your Facebook Information section and tap Account Ownership and Control.
3. Tap Deactivation and Deletion, and select Delete Account.

I see my account that I want to keep. But it just has the picture and at the bottom of the screen the cog wheel for settings, a space, then log into another account or sign up for facebook.

Try to follow these steps:
1. Open your Facebook account on the web and click on the down arrow at the top-right corner of the page.
2. From the dropdown menu that appears, click “Log Out” to sign out of this Facebook account.
Then try to log in again using your email and password to your original FB account

I would recommend the following steps:
1. Go to facebook.com/login/identify
Find your account by searching for your phone number or email address.
2. Select “No longer have access to these?”.
3. On the "I've lost access to my login details" screen select "Start".
4. Then add a new email address or you can choose to add a phone number instead.
5. Next you'll be offered to either enter the old password to your account that you remember or to submit your ID document.
6. If you choose to enter a password then you'll need to confirm a new email or phone number. If you choose to upload your ID then press "Send". You will receive a message that Facebook will contact you via email shortly.
And then you'll be able to restore your access

Then try to reinstall Facebook on your iPad
1. Press and hold the Facebook icon on your iPad.
2. Tap the X that appears.
3. To confirm, tap Delete.
Then go to App Store on your iPad and download it, after that try to log in again

Ok. Deleted and redownloaded.
Opened FB and put in password but it isn't accepting the password.
Then it tries to send me an SMS and it doesn't come to my phone.
The phone number starts with +55 because I'm in Brazil. But it has sent other messages today.
Just isn't coming now.

To add or remove an email from your Facebook account
1. Tap in the top right of Facebook.
2. Scroll down and tap Settings.
3. In the Account Settings section, tap Personal Information, then tap Contact Info.
4. Tap Add Email Address and enter your email.
5. Tap Add Email.
