How do iget facebook onto my iphone again

What did happen to your second profile?
I somehow got two profiles on facebook on my laptop. One worked on my laptop the other on my iohone. I deleted one on my laptop and thstr deleted my face book access on my iphone.
i really want only one profile that works on both
I assume that you deleted the same account which was on your phone as well.
That is why you do not have open profile on a phone now.

In this case, you can log in to that same account on a phone.

Open the Facebook app on the phone > on the login screen click sign in > type your email *****@gmail.com and password > click sign in
i have not got a face book app on the phone

Firstly, install the Facebook app on your phone:
Open the App Store app.
Tap Search.
Tap the search bar.
Type in Facebook.
Tap GET next to Facebook.
Enter your Apple ID password or Touch ID when prompted.

it looks like the profile i earlier deleted

To log out of the Facebook for iPhone app: In the bottom right of Facebook, tap. . Scroll to the bottom and tap Log Out.
done --- that then shows three pics of previous profiles
