How do I find the pin number for my Brother printer Model: MFC-L2710DW and serial number: *****?

I do not have any paperwork on printer.

Short summary:

To find the PIN number for your Brother printer Model: MFC-L2710DW:

  1. By default, the printer's PIN code is the last four digits of its serial number.
  2. In this case, the PIN number is 8649.

To connect your Brother printer Model: MFC-L2710DW to your Wi-Fi network:

  1. Connect the power cord to your Brother machine and then connect it to an electrical socket.
  2. Turn your Brother machine on.
  3. Press the Menu button on the machine's control panel.
  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select Network and press OK.
  5. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select WLAN and press OK.
  6. When WLAN Enable? appears, select Yes to enable the wireless network. This will start the wireless setup wizard.
  7. The machine will search for your network and display a list of available Network Names (SSIDs).
  8. When a list of SSIDs appears, press the Up or Down arrow keys to select the SSID of your network, and then press OK.
  9. If using an authentication and encryption method that requires the Network Key (Password), enter the Network Key, then press OK to apply your settings. Select Yes to apply the settings.
  10. If your authentication method is Open System and your encryption mode is None, go to the next part.
  11. The machine will try to connect to the wireless network you have selected.
  12. Once connected, the printer should be listed as an available printer on your laptop.
