Does your camera support the ability to connect to a projector?

Customer Replay

I think so

*****, before we get started, clarify, please, do you have A/V cables Composite, S-Video, Component, HDMI, DVI, or DisplayPort)?

Customer Replay

Yes I have hdmi

Wonderful.

  1. Turn off both the video camera and projector.
  2. Connect the cable from the output port of the video camera to the input port of the projector.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable to the input port of the projector.
  4. Turn on both the video camera and projector.
  5. Set the input source of the projector to match the connection you used. For example, if you used an
HDMI cable, select “HDMI” as the input source.
  6. Point the video camera at the desired projection surface and focus the image.
*****, here is the instruction for you)

When you say output port of video cam, can that be USB? The projector has a USB port

Yes, you can try a USB port or HDMI one.

Yes, of course.

Customer Replay

I've selected a folder image with a video cutting tool. Is that the correct one? I've tried to ok it from the remote but no response
Or do I need a special USB channel?

*****, is it possible for you to send me a photo of what options do you have on the projector?

Customer Replay

Ok

After connection you have to choose USB - if you were connected by it, or HDMI - if you were using it.
So, is it successful?

Customer Replay

No

Okay, can you send me a photo?

Customer Replay

I have a blue screen

Okay. Try to reconnect the camera from the projector and connect them one more time as you were doing previously.

Customer Replay

My apologies.

It`s okay, have you reconnected them?

Customer Replay

Yes and still trying to connect to the correct channel as there are multiple channels

Okay, I`m waiting.

Customer Replay

Being blue

What type of HDMI do you have?
Like HDMI - HDMI?

Customer Replay

It's connected to the tv
Hdmi

So, both ends of HDMI are the same?

Customer Replay

Yes

Okay, please, reboot your projector and then connect One end of HDMI to the camera, and another one to the HDMI of the projector.

Customer Replay

I'm afraid that my cam doesn't support hdmi I'm sorry

Okay, what cables can you put to your camera? Only USB?

Customer Replay

Yes that's right
USB only

Okay, do you have USB - HDMI or USB - USB cable?

Customer Replay

It's USB cable with a small end into the cam

Ah, okay. And you connected this small cable to the projector, correct?

Customer Replay

Yes
I've recorded some horse racing from my Foxtel unit while being connected to the usb

Got you, *****. Okay, so in this case the best option will be to download the video from the camera to the laptop and then connect your laptop to the projector.

Customer Replay

Thankyou. It's actually a quad core ex gov desktop PC. Thanks for your time
