Let's try resetting a Honeywell Thermostat
Power off the thermostat and remove the batteries. Put the batteries in the wrong way, with negative to positive and positive to negative. Wait ten seconds and put them back in the correct way. Your thermostat will be reset to factory settings.

Here are the instructions that we need to follow.

  1. Press and hold Menu and + buttons for approximately 5 seconds to enter advanced menu.
  2. Press Select to enter System Setup menu.
  3. Press Select to cycle through System Setup numbers.
  4. Press + or - to change values or select from available options.
  5. Press Select to save changes and advance to the next System Setup number.
  6. Once you have cycled through all of the System Setup numbers, “Done"" is displayed. Press Select to save and exit. To save and exit early, press Home to return to the Home screen.

Press Menu on the thermostat.
Press + or - to go to LOCK. Press Select.
Press + or - to go to OFF, PART, or ON, and then press Select.
To unlock the keypad, press the CENTER button and then enter the password “1234”. To enter the password, press + or - to change the first digit of the number. Then press Select. Repeat this process to enter the second through fourth digits of the number. Once all four numbers have been entered, press Select again.
This will unlock the keypad.
If the code is incorrect, the screen will flash the lines ""--"".
Press Back to go back a step to enter the correct number and press Select.

You would need to enter password "12345"

NO, no option to enter the password …. Will not go to that screen by following the chat

You would need to change it to "1" using the "-" button
Then press Select.
Then following the same instruction you would need to change it to "2"
Then press Select.
Repeat this process to enter the second through fourth digits of the number.
So eventually it will be 12345 on the screen
Then you would need to press Select again.
